Robert Smith
Joining the Ontario Worker’s Compensation Board (now the WSIB) in 1990 after 15 years in Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety, Robert's career spanned eighteen years in all areas of WSIB operations: Vocational Rehabilitation, Prevention (Workwell Evaluator), Operations Management (Ergonomics Program, Return-to-Work, Adjudication, Mediation) and Human Resources. His intimate knowledge of the processes of the WSIB makes him an invaluable business partner.
He has a wide range of expertise in the area of human resources, employee & employee relations, absenteeism, coaching, disability management, conflict resolution, WSIB case management and health & safety. His expertise spans the public sector, manufacturing, finance and retail organizations.
Robert has assisted many employers obtain significant WSIB cost savings by implementing successful Remain-at & Return-to-work solutions as well as analyzing process issues and recommending and implementing effective solutions.

Sue Baron
Having operated a successful medical rehabilitation practice, Sue Baron brings almost twenty years of medical/ disability case management and rehabilitation to our clients. This, coupled with experience as an Adjudicator with the WSIB and a Registered Nutrition Counsellor and Practitioner, provides our clients with a range of experience and knowledge that promotes effective solutions.
She has helped employers deal effectively with complex medical issues, clarifying and managing difficult claims. This has been especially advantageous when working with employees and their specific limitations, helping them return to safe and valuable work.
