By thoroughly investigating the medical history for an employee who had been laid off for over two years, we were able to prove a pre-existing condition existed and re-couped $173,500 for our building materials manufacturing client. Through a thorough analysis of NEER and Accident Cost Statements, we were able to identify a significant root cause for long duration/ high cost claims for a health services client and achieved a reduction in lost time claims of 90% and duration by 98%.
